Cask at the Bootlegger, High Wycombe, 10/02/16. Copper amber with a decent light beige cap. Nose is biscuit, tobacco, brown bread, grain, earthy. Taste comprises light toffee, faint spice, pipe tobacco, fruit loaf. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a light bitter edge. Decent bitter.

Half pint, cask ale at Welkin in Liverpool. Patch off-white head to a deep red-brown coloured body. Smell of earth, herbs and brown malts. Flavoured with dark malts, dark fruits and liquorice. Delicate roasted bitterness to the finish. Nice (02.02.2015).

Cask hand pull jdw lord moon of mall. Clear red brown colour lasting beige head. Ok malty fruity best bitter. Not much hop on finish. Tasty enough. Ok malty fruit red berry bitter

Cask at the white lady. Pours clear brown, thin bubbly off-white head. Malt and caramel aromas, light spice. Taste is toffee, malty, more light spice. Not bad.

On cask at the Standing Order. Appearance - hazy amber with a decent head. Nose - toffee, caramel and biscuits. Taste - more caramel and biscuits. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a balanced dry finish. Overall - good Bitter. Nothing new but well executed.
