Half pint, cask ale at Welkin in Liverpool. Patch off-white head to a deep red-brown coloured body. Smell of earth, herbs and brown malts. Flavoured with dark malts, dark fruits and liquorice. Delicate roasted bitterness to the finish. Nice (02.02.2015).
