Argentinian Cascade hops yield spicy, sweet citrus characteristics but are more subtle than the American variant. Rye crystal malt imparts a mahogany hue and crisp mouthfeel.

Half pint, cask ale at JDWs Waterend Barn. Just a ring to the rim of a naked surface. Nice and clear mahogany coloured body. Brown, earthy malts on the nose. Dark malty taste of caramel and bread supported by fruity hints with a mild spicy touch. Medium to thin bodied. Pleasant and food friendly (St Albans 25.09.2014).

Cask gravity at the St Albans beer fest 2014. Deep crimson red orange colour with a loose off white head. Aroma is sweet burnt sugars, toffee, dried fruit, twigs. Flavour is caramised sugars, burnt sugars, treacle, palate is quite sweet, decent condition. Lingering unrefined sugars and twigs.
