Poured from cask, half at Sparrow Bier Café in Bradford. Upper level lacing, filmy layer, clear brown-red body colour. Spiced aroma including notes of cumin and dark dough. Taste of dark bread, anise, cumin, and dark fruits. The ending is bitter and sweet. Complex, indeed, and rather pleasing (08.07.2015).

Cask @ Sparrow Bier Cafe, Bradford. Clear brown with a thin head. Has some very sweetened malt with some grain involved. Gritty but palatable.

Cask at the Guildford arms. Pours deep amber, nose is dull toffee, taste is quite dry and bitter, herbal, burnt rubber coming through - lingered through my entire half of stratos.

6% red rye ipa. Pours clear dark amber with a thick off-white head. Aromas of light spice, kinda thin though. Not a generous nose, some caramel and toffee. Taste is chewy, wood spice, caramel. Slightly astringent on the finish.
