My goodness. A golden quad. My first. Just a bit to sweet and expensive.
Hazed deep golden color with a small off white layer. Dried fruity aroma with a fine intensity. Full body and a soft carbonation. A bit sweet and a oily texture. Toffee, some alcohol, mild yeast, lots of dried fruit and some faint banana. Nah I do not think this was something for me.

On tap at Crowbar, pours a clear orange with a small white head. Nose brings out Belgian yeast and floral notes. Flavour brings out spicy Belgian yeast, floral notes, and a touch of candied sugar. Doesn't taste (or look) like a typical quad. Not bad, but not overly complex. Decent.

Small glass, draught at the brewpub being Crowbar & Bryggeri. Tiny white head leaving dotted spots on the glass. Slightly cloudy dark golden body. Citrus on the nose, rather sweet. Fruity taste with input of sweet orange alongside sweet dough and noticeable alcohol. Sweet and soft in the mouth, way too sweet in my book. Not more than accepted (Oslo 14.04.2015).
