From bottle at MB2 06.01.25. Clear mahogany amber. Beige head. Aroma and taste of slightly roasted malt, dates, figs, hints of caramel and dried red berries. Light mouthfeel. Some bitterness is lingering on. Good quaffability.

Bottle at home. Pours a clear mahogany color with a creamy beige head. Aroma of bread, wort, leather, dades and caramel. The flavor is light with bread, leather, grass, minerals and some fudge. Has a slick mouth feel, light to medium body and a light bitterness. A malty and light beer. Great vienna.

330 ml bottle. A gift, not spend any money on this. Clear amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma is caramel and some toast. Flavor is sweet caramel with a light but harsh bitterness. Really not much here. Medium body and average aftertaste of caramel. When the Norwegian macro breweries some years ago where no longer allowed to sell their tradition Christmas beers in grocery shops they invented the Christmas light style, that basically where some uninspired pilsner with lots of caramel flavoring. No complicity, no depth, utterly boring and almost every single one tasted the same. Some was just a tad better and some worse. This is NOT among the better. It’s drinkable but in 2016 I really don’t see why.

Bottle 330ml @ Geokkjer
Pours clear amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel and hint of grass. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft to fizzy. Very boring beer...
