At White Horse Inn, Edwardstone. As Grain Pilsener. Sour yeasty floral aroma. Copper gold. Thin translucent white head. Light-medium sugary sweet with a sour edge. Malts in the finish. Light bodied. Thin. Low key fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. It's OK. Doesn't overdo the sweetness but not much to it.

Keg at the Maypole, Cambridge. Light gold, clear, very little visible carbonation and a modest ring of white head. Apple and lemon with some floral touches and light botanicals. It doesn’t taste as good as it smells; there’s a bland sweetness throughout followed by slight astringency in the finish. Suggestions of light citrus and vanilla in the aftertaste. Light body with medium to high carbonation. Not all that exciting, although competent enough.
