One-third pint, cask ale, 4.3 % abv, at Murderers. Low beige head. Near-black body. Spotty lacing. Sweet chocolate nose. Sweet cocoa and chocolate flavours with distant chilli hints. Rather sweet in the long run. (Norwich 08.07.2017).

Bree Louise. Cask. Oily looking black beer, no real head. Palate is smooth and semi dry with almost no carbonation. Powdery dark chocolate is quickly overwhelmed by aggressive chilli. Singeing the mouth it really starts to burn on the way down. Three painful mouthfulls and I was done. This level of chilli - fine in a curry - daft in a beer!
