Bottle from a trade with crajun. Pours slightly hazy orangish color with off white head. Floral, grassy hop aroma with with some biscuity malts. Grassy hop flavor with some sweet malts. Medium body with average carbonation. A decent pale ale. Thanks Kevin.

Received in trade from depechemode1983, thanks for the opportunity. Pours a deep golden copper color with a tightly bubbled white head that falls quickly. Smells of apricot and grapefruit with a bready toasty malt backbone. Taste is toasty malt with grapefruity hops. Its been so long since I’ve had a pale ale I keep expecting the lupulin to remove some enamel from my teeth but it never does. Medium body and carbonation. Nice sessionable pale ale. Not something I have been drinking lately, but really nicely done.

Location: Draft at Jacks Bar in the Cannery, 5/11/11

Aroma: The nose is malty and citrus, orange, grapefruit, and caramel all present
Appearance: The pour an unclear caramel color with a small, frothy white head and lots of lace
Flavor: The taste is decently malty with with a citrus presence, definite orange in the flavor
Palate: The mouthfeel is tingly with a medium body, and a fairly short, dry finish to it
Overall Impression: They snuck a Deschutes beer in on me! I didn't even know that's what I was ordering, but I guess the mirror in the name should have been a clue. I'm sure this is everywhere out here, but it is an awesome find for me, we can't get their beer back east. An interesting pale ale, but not overwhelmingly good.

Hazy amber beer. Soft palate and pleasantly frothy in the mouth. Juicy mild hops - grapefruit and marmalade round the beer nicely. Semi dry finish with just a little hop bitterness. A good session beer.

12oz bottle from the state liquor store
Appearance: Slightly hazy amber with a small white head and some lacing
Aroma: Sweet caramel, malty and floral
Taste: Malty, bready and with a slightly bitter finish
A nice solid pale ale

22oz bottle, labeled Fresh Hop Mirror Pond
I’m not going to change my rating, but the Fresh Hop is much better than the regular Mirror Pond. In my notes I gave it a 3.7. Appearance: Clear amber/copper with a big foamy off-white head and lots of lacing
Aroma: Grapefruit, floral and bready
Taste: Grapefruit, caramel with a mild bitterness in the finish
Very nice 7/4/8/3/15 3.7

Creamy, fluffy yead over orange-amber beer. Citrus very present in the nose, but revealing both UK and US hops. Fruit, fruity esters abundant in the mouth, as well as a grainy flavour. Light body, bit sparkling. Rather good Pale ale.

Shipped to me by my wife on a trip to Portland. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured an orange-amber color with a large orange-beige head that lingered and produced good lacing. The aroma was nut and caramel with strong rough fruity hops. The flavor was dry, nutty and very bitter with moderate rough fruity hops. The finish was medium length dry, bitter hops. A bit thin in body. Ok.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy golden with a medium white head. Hops on the nose and palate, with a medium body. Very nice ale.

12 oz bottle. Aroma is grapefruit citrus, pine, grain. Pours golden amber with a decent head, decent lacing. Taste is just slightly bitter for this style, not sweet. Could be bigger-bodied. Finishes a little salty. Not bad at all--but not exactly fantastic either.
