Olmost black with light brown head - malt and chocolate aroma - Malt body with some roasted and smoked notes with some chocolate and bitterness in the back - Malt finish with chocolate and some roasted notes - This was good

330 ml bottle, from Joker Vatlandsvåg. ABV is 4.7%. Very dark brown to black colour, moderate beige head. Aroma of roast malts, dark chocolate and mild coffee. Smooth flavour, with the same elements as the aroma, moderate hops.

Fiskåbanen 221018. Red dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, oak. Flavor isn roasted malt, coffee, oak, wood, dried fruits, bread. Nice beer.

Bottle. A reddish dark brown beer witha finger thick dark beige head. Roasted malts, charcoal, some bonfire and a wood touch in the aroma. Some dark dried fruits, bread and sour notes too. It's quite effervescent on the palate, dry and medium bodied, with flavours of roasted malts, bonfire, prunes, burnt malts and a sourish touch. Hard to say if the sourness is caused by the burnt malts or an infection. Long finish. A decent one. 181022

330ml bottle from Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsø. A deep ruby tint to a rosewood coloured body. Firm fawn-coloured head. Fair lacing. Caramel malty aroma with a chocolate touch. Similar taste of chocolate and caramel malts with moments of dark fruits. Smoothly roasted ending. Decent Yuletide brew. (Tromsø 13.12.2017).
