200ml draught at Olutravintola Pikkulintu. Coal black body, naked surface, dotted spots on the glass. Slightly roasted dark malty nose, hints of berries. Taste of dark dough, dark plums and spiced caramel. Mid-sweet malt fruity ending. Medium bodied. Likable. (Helsinki 30.11.2017).

(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20171118) The beer poured black. Its head was small and white. Aroma had sweetness and burnt malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were chocolate, burnt malts, sweetness, nuts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, burnt and bitter. A surprisingly nice burnt brew with low ABV.

Tap at One Pint Pub. Dark brown colour, small beige head. Chocolate and vegetables. Medium-bodied. Chocolate, very sweet malts, some veggies. Probably gone down.

Draught @ OlutExpo 2017, Helsinki. Pours dark brown, almost black with a smooth head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, syrup, vanilla and chocolate. Taste is smooth, earthy and caramely with some chocolate, toffee and fudge. Finish is smooth and creamy with some caramel, chocolate and toffee. Not as over the top as I expected, quite easy going.

Poured near black with a thin brown head. Aroma has nutty notes, sugars, toffee notes. Really sweet flavors, nutty notes, sugars and toffee. Vanilla in finish as well.
