Fra fat på Henrik øl og vinstove, delt med Børge: nesten helt sort med ok skum. Vanilje, lakris, cappucino, melkesjokolader, brennenesle og kanskje et lite hint av røyk/aske. Mild bitterhet, fløyelsmyk og innsmigrende, men i lengden blir den litt for søt.

Nice slightly bubbly-creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, sour licorice, bloodlike minerals, roasted grain, burnt toast, weeds, sawdust, salty licorice. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, weeds, roasted grain, bloodlike minerals, saltwater, ashes, burnt toast, grass, paper, sour licorice, burnt coffee. Medium bitterness, harsh sour-ish roasted mouthfeel. Not my cup of tea.

200ml draught at Henrik Øl & Vinstove. A bubbly fawn coloured head over a pitch black body. Clingy lacing. Promising aroma of dark dough, peat and dark fruits. Blended sweet dark malty taste of chocolate, molasses, peat and dark fruits. Lingering and warming finish. Well bodied, still dangerously easy to drink. Excellent nightcap. (Bergen 02.10.2017).
