Cask @ The Palace, Leeds. Dark amber with no head. It's a sticky-sweet ale.

20/8/2018. Cask at the Globe, Moorgate. Pours clear dark amber / pale brown with a very small off-white head. Aroma of fruit, nut, caramel, malt and hops. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Quite a light body, oily texture, soft carbonation.

On cask at the Haymarket Bar. Appearance - deep and bright amber. Nose - honey and nuts. Light hint of chocolate. Taste - honeysuckle and floral honey. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture. Fairly elegant on the finish. Overall - it's going on about hops and quenching. Didn't see much of that. Good ale though.

Cask, 3.4 % abv. half-pint at Shakespeare. Clear golden brown body. Shiny naked surface, minimal lacing. Bread and ripe fruity nose. Mixed taste of apricot and brown malts. Slightly roasted bitter endnotes. Fair enough and quite okay with the lunch at the pub. (Birmingham 06.07.2018).

Cask at Swan Inn, Farnborough. 07/08/16. Feint aroma. Earthy. A hint of caramel. Medium amber. Pretty healthy head. Longevity. Blotchy. Medium bodied but smooth. Initially quite subtle, with a sharp bitter aftertaste. Not really getting much. Slips down but pretty boring.
