Tall boy can, Harley Davidson version. Fruity, adjunct nose with a bit of sweet orange. Piss yellow, low head. Very sweet and cloying (that is unexpected!), grains and corn and fruit. Some esters. Rather full and almost syrupy. Light hops in the finish. I’ll never buy this, but, hey, it could be worse. It could be LITE. And it could be skunked in the bottle.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein hell goldgelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch ganz leicht malzig, getreidig. Geschmack sehr wässrig, minimal malzig, getreidig, ganz leicht herb.

Had a can of this barley water the other day. Didn’t see the colour other than the pale can. No aroma, light barley taste. Bring on the U.S. macro lagers.

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, corn and hint of citrus/lime. Taste is light sweet and no bitterness. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. It pours a clear, pale golden body and a small white head. The aroma is very corn like, cheap tortilla chips I think. Some grassy, fruity notes. Thin on the palate, nice carbonation. The flavor is equally bad as the aroma, even the bitterness is missing almost completely. Rather crappy finish. Drain pour. 130808

Why the low rating? I drank the crap out of this when I was younger. Crisp, piss yellow, no head. smells of cardboard and pine sol. Taste is pretty crisp and light. sort of a lime zest taste with minor skunkiness. $2.50 a pint at my local bar. tasty enough, low alcohol.

40 oz. bottle. You’ve gotta stop getting me crappy lagers, Jonathan. Pale yellow color with a big, white head. Corn and pale malts, some light resinous hops, and light biscuits. Very sweet. Light body, a little thick and clingy. Overall, this is not as bad as I expected. The aroma is weak, and standard macrobrew malts and hops, but just a little better than the average swill.
