A complex high-grade grain bill of six carefully selected malts create a smooth and well balanced roasted base. We then add Authentic Italian hand crushed espresso beans at three different stages for a triple smash of full espresso flavour. Body building hops with low aroma are used to suitably enhance the rich espresso flavour profile.

Cask ale, third at Head of Steam. Deep black body, patchy fawn-coloured head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Roasted malty aroma with a rather rich coffee impact. Coffee flavour with hints of nuts and chocolate. Coffee to the ending as well, mid-dry. Likable. (Leeds 02.07.2018).
