500ml bottle, batch #080, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsø. Firm off-white head, bright copper coloured body. Crocheted lacing. Slightly roasted aromas hints of toffee. Malt-driven flavours of bread, toffee and nuts. Earth malty endnotes. Satisfying, fails to impress though. (Tromsø 14.04.2018).

Big beige head. Clear deep dark red body with light carbonation. Dusty toasty caramel aroma with sugary notes. Dryish dusty earthy fruity taste with caramelly notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish mealy red fruit aftertaste with solventy finish. It’s not bad, but it’s not quite right, either. (0.5l bottle, from Meny Strømmen. Batch # unreadable, but ends in 7.)

Tynn maltkropp.

Bottle. It pours a huge off-white head over an unclear reddish pale brown body. Roasted malts, nuts, caramel, pine cones and some yeast and bread in the aroma. It’s full to medium bodied, with a rather heavy carbonation. Sort of dry, with flavors of bread, caramel, some nuts and roasted malts. Lasting roasted, caramel finish with some nutty notes. This one gives me too much of that homebrew feeling. 160514
