Bottle from Gulating. Brown body with a nice, creamy beige head. Aroma is mild roasted malt, some caramel and distinct cinnamon. Flavor is like a decent brown ale with Christmas spices, and particular cinnamon. Body becomes a bit weak and aftertaste is a bit one-dimensional caramel and cinnamon. Not bad, but needs desperately some more body and alcohol.

330ml bottle bought at Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsø. Crocheted lacing from a remaining, fawn-coloured head. Ruby tint to a deep dark body. Spiced dark fruity nose. Mixed taste of prunes, nuts and cinnamon, slightly perfumed. Ends grainy, mid-sweet. Soft in the mouth. Satisfying. (Tromsø 22.01.2019).

Bottle. An unclear brown beer with a finger-thick beige head. Smooth nose with dried fruits, raisin and prune mostly, cinnamon, roasted malts, coffee and some chocolate notes. It's full-bodied and very soft on the palate, with a good dash of sweetness. Not cloying though. Dried fruits, roasted malts, some coffee and dark chocolate, with a pleasant cinnamon addition. Lasting sweet, roasted finish with dried fruits and cinnamon. A pleasant cinnamon infused beer. Better suited for winter usage than for a hot damp summer day, but that's just my fault. 180728
