Our oatmeal stout is named after the last two horses to work at Engine House #9. The stout flavor and mouth feel is softened from the use of oats.

Sample at the Northport location. Black pour with a medium foamy tan head that recedes gradually to a film. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and coffee. Light to medium body with flavors of charred malt, coffee and dark chocolate. The finish is roasty with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Nitro at Mitten. Almost black with super thick beige head. Dark chocolate, stale coffee, light ash and burnt toast with a light sugary hint. Under medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. Good.
