Can. It pours an unclear deep amber to brown body under a finger-thick off-white head. The aroma has a good dash of grapefruit, with bready malts, some roasted malts and a light burnt hint. It's quite dry on the palate, with roasted malts, bread and a touch of burnt malts, with pine cones and resins joining in. Some bitterness, but in a sort of unpleasant husky way, not in a good hoppy way. Long finish. Well, there's sure some good things going on here, but it's not a beer I'll repeat. 181229

440ml can from Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsø. Unclear, almost muddy, dark brown body. Fawn-coloured head, spotty lacing. Quite inviting smell of roasted malts with a piney touch. Roasted caramel malty flavours, hints of pine needles, backed by cinnamon. Mid-dry malt-fruity finish. Easy to drink. Successful herring paring at lunchtime. (Tromsø 25.12.2018).
