Inspired by the original DIPA, PLINY THE ELDER from American giants Russian River, this DIPA marries a complex yet balanced malt bill and moderate bitterness with big doses of Chinook, El Dorado, Galena, and Mosaic at flame out, in the whirlpool and a double dry hop. Think dank & resinous piny notes balanced by fruity notes of citrus, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, and blackcurrant.

Third, on keg at Terminus Tap Room. Crocheted lacing on the glass from a dark orange coloured hazed body. Covering white head. Soft smell of mid-sweet apricot. Mid-dry fruity taste of apricot and peaches. Lingering mid-sweet fruity ending. Quite alright, rather heavy to drink. (Meanwood, Leeds 03.07.2019).
