Cask at the hanging bat... Deep red brown.. Small brown head.. Soft sweet caramel woody toffee malts nose.. Light sweet woody caramel toffee chocolate.. Soft rich roast.. Light woody chocolate roast malts... Soft sweet body... Interesting.. Expected to be dissapointed on colour.. But quite interesting.. Wish i was more sober

Cask at the Hanging Bat. Pours black with a thick tan head. Aromas of dark cocoa powder, faint vanilla. Taste is more of the same. Nice chocolate linger.

Cask @ Craft Asylum, Leeds. Black with an off-white creamy head. It has dry coffee roasted malts but with little flavour in this respect. 735311

Third, keg at Cask Asylum #2. Steady beige head, near black in the glass. Spotty lacing. Earthy malts, mid-sweet. Moderate taste profile of ash, earth and dark grain together with notes of yeasty fruitiness. Ends malt-yeasty. Quite okay, just a bit unbalanced. (Leeds 30.06.2019).

Keg at just beer Newark. Almost black colour with a tan head. Aroma smooth and malty sweet. Taste light sweet. Medium to full body.
