Full pint, cask, outside by the banks of the River Severn at Diglis House Hotel in Worcester. Clear dark amber coloured body, filmy layer leaving lacing on the upper part of the glass. Modest aromas of fruity malts, hints of herbal hops. Quite moderate taste profile of caramel, biscuit, and leafy hops. Distant bittersweet endnotes. Easy going. (Worcester 28.06.2019).

On tap @ the Raeburn Hotel. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - grassy/herby with a bran biscuit background. Taste - citrus and grassiness. Again there is a biscuit thing going on behind it. Palate - light to medium bodied with a light creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a decent pint alright, though not sure it makes me think American Pale Ale. Works well as an English pale ale though.

Cask at the Tilly Shilling (JDW), Farnborough. Hazy amber with a dense cream head; grainy aroma; served a touch too cold for my liking - even though itโs a very pleasant summer afternoon; the body is sweet and grainy, with a good level of fresh grassy bitterness that kicks in immediately; this turns out to be long lasting and lingers over a sweet digestive biscuit finish. A rather good effort from GK - more please!

Cask at Christian Firtal. The best bitter I have had in a long time. Good of GK to take some inspiration from American brewing to brew such a fine bitter. Slightly hazy dark golden with a small white head. The aroma has toffee and breadcrust, fruity currant and raspberry notes and a touch of grass. Dryish malty flavour with fruity character, some grass and nettles and a mild bitter finish. Refreshing and very tasty.
