Small glass on a sample tray, draught at the brewpub. A beige head covering a black body with a deep rustic glint. Spotty lacing. Good looking. Roasted chocolate malts on the nose, attractive. Fine blended taste of earth, nuts, and chocolate malts, lactose backbone. Distant hints of dark fruity to a mid-dry, malt-driven ending. Good drinking after the cheese and bacon burger.
