Well stored bottle. Pitch black body under a nice, dense beige head. Aroma of medium roasted dark malt, chocolate, coffee and hint of oxidation in a delicate way. Taste is smooth, dark malt, dry fruit, chocolate, coffee and balanced bitterness. Fine balanced body and long lasting smooth aftertaste. Nice.

Bottled 330ml (Vinmonopolet, BB 01/2028)
Opaque colour, thick brownish head. Toasted, milky, soya sauce aroma.Full-bodied. Roasted, black coffeish, milky, bitterish, dry and a bit burned imperial stout. Could have more depth, now quite straightforward roast brew.

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Trondheim Bankkvartalet. The oily pour reveals a coal black body under a firm fawn-coloured head leaving lacing at the upper part of the glass. Inviting aromas of slightly smoked dark chocolate malts. Malt-driven taste profile of coffee and chocolate. Smooth bittersweet, roasted finish. Full bodied. Nice sipper. (Hotel room, Trondheim 15.09.2019).

Nice light brown slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head, deep dark pour. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, licorice powder, weeds, minerals, dark malts, bark, roasted grain, toast, soil, sour coffee, alcohol, dark sugar, chocolate, hints of butterscotch. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly watery and harsh roasted mouthfeel. Fair enough.
