On tap at WBF 2025, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has a wonderful peated whiskey character, smoky malts, and subtle vanillin. Flavour is intense, with huge peated whiskey barrels, burnt malts, and a touch of vanilla. Intense but integrated. Excellent.

On tap at Warsaw Beer Festival 2025. Pours deep dark brown. Tons of peat smoke, dark sugars, and bourbon on the nose. Flavour has dry peaty smoke, bitter roasted malts, and some bourbon accents. Fantastic.

13.12.2019 Aromat fajny ciemnego słodu czekolada melasa wiśniówka. Brązowa piana czarne nieprzejrzyste. Nagazowanie niskie, ciała dużo, gładkie oleiste, alk czuć, finisz bardzo nieprzyjemny kukułkowy. Paloność goryczka intensywna, ziemiste trochę torfowe w tle ale jest tego mało, wędzonki tez jest trochę. Kukułki słodyczy jest miej niż goryczki. Ogólnie piwo bardzo palone i z tymi aromatami beczki po whisky daje dość intensywny posmak, co później trochę męczy.

Smoked Black gold. Bottled on 13.12.2019. Niesamowicie torfowe, wędzone i beczkowe. Czarne oleiste i gęste piana koloru kakaowego nie za wielką ale ten ciemny kolor niesamowity, mroczny niczym najlepsze filmy Wesa Cravena. Spalone drewno aromat wygładzonego ogniska, ciężkie z lekka słodyczą. Pairing with smoked syrove korbace udene from Slovakia.

330ml bottle, many thanks to djoeye for the share. The oily pour reveals a pitch black body, tan, bubbly head with clingy lacing. Promising smell of earthy malts with a peaty touch. Rounded taste profile of dark malts, peaty and woody. The peaty part lingerings on to a long-lived malty ending. Heavy stuff, with decent slow sipper qualities. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is intensive asphalt and burned plastic, also dark chocolate and vanilla. Alcohol well hidden. Medium bitterness. Long aftertaste. Fantastic creamy texture, soft carbonation. Not too aggressive. Very good.
