Bottle from Two Brews, Colchester. Pours very dark brown with a small lasting toward beige head. Aroma of light roasting, chocolate, malt, vanilla and a little fruit. Medium sweetness, light roasted bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

Transparent dark color with a tan layer on top. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a soft carbonation level. A bit unbalanced sweetness. Fruity, herbal, and dark malt in the flavor. Decent easy drinkable porter.

Chelmsford Winter Beer Fest (with Rune, Rasmus, Saxo and Camons) @ KEGS. Cask. Clear amber beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Palate is light, fairly dry and has low carbonation. Light dry malts, not sweet. Tangy ripe fruits. Light dry finish. Tired, dry and ripe. Not great.

Gravicask, third at Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival. A decent beige bubbly head covering a black-brownish body. Lacing rings down the glass. Dark bread on the nose, hints of chocolate. Malt-accented flavours with a backdrop of dark fruits. Mild roasted malty finish. Well blended and not too thin bodied (15.02.2017).
