Suma y sigue… nuestro laboratorio continua desarrollando cervezas con la «demandada» levadura «Vermont», pero esta vez creando una IPA nada turbia, clara, con carácter, cómo James. Utilizando un lúpulo, el «Enigma» que hace de esta elaboración, algo especial, diferente, nuevo… ¡¡»mezclada, no agitada»!!

Bottle from Stadsslijterij Groenmarkt, Zutphen. Took ages to pour, too much foam! Aroma is softly hopped with orange, malt, mild tropical fruits, and herbal notes. Flavour is moderate sweet with a harsh bitter finish. Body is medium with an annoying overabundance of carbonation. A bit of a mess, rough, disappointing Lab series entry.

Bottle at Puttetjes. Slightly unclear golden with massive fluffy white head. Big sweet malts with orange and tangerine peels. Doughy yeasty. Quite sweet and little sharp bitter. Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Hazy golden with big fizzy off white head. Dank fruity hops, sharp bitter soap, lime and orange peel, lots of tangerines, soft alcohol, caramel, kumquats. Medium sweet and harsh bitter finish. Medium bodied with strong carbonation. Not a great succes.

Hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and fairly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, some sweetness. Hops bring a nice peach dominated tropical fruits. Touches of lime peel, pine and hop spice. Floral tropical fruit finish accompanied by some modest citrus peel. Very drinkable.

Small, irregular head, bit greyish, over lightly hazy cloudy orange beer. Fruity hops/lunaria, stone fruit, starfruit. Bitterish, hoppy, but also a flavour as from artichoke liqueur. Quite slick, hopoils giving a film over the mucosae. Typical IPA new style, quite OK.

Bottle. Golden orange pour, lively head. Aroma of grassy vector hop, pine, nettle and citrus. Taste has yeast, grassy vegetal hop, malt, sweet herbal pine and weird pineapple. Something went wrong here, perhaps the yeast took another course.

On tap @ CATM. Pale golden color, White head with good retention. Aroma is light citrusy, hoppy and light herbal. Flavor with a moderate bitterness, herbal hints, tropical notes. Mild bitterness in the final with some dry mouthfeel.

Botella 33 cl en el Kraken 04..08..2017. Lote L20170628 hasta 06..2018. Color amarillento turbio con espuma blanca persistente. Sabores maltosos y bastante afrutados. Dulces. Suaves herbáceos y cítricos con final amargo no muy intenso. Cuerpo medio espumoso y cierta densidad. Bastante buena para repetir.
