330ml bottle picked up at Gulating, Tromsø. Clear golden-brown in body appearance. Dissipating off-white head, fragile lacing. Mild, mid-sweet brown malty nose. Mild malty flavours as well, impacts of bread, caramel and almond. Smooth and lightly sweet malty endnotes. Decent partner to our pickled herring (Shared with Frau Eva, Tromsø 29.12.2016).

After driving 3 hours in the Norwegian mountains with almost no street lights….this was a revelation while I hit the sofa.
Clear nutty color with a fine off white head. Looks good. Decent intensity in the aroma. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Caramel malty, nutty, herbal and fruity flavor.

Bottle. A clear, amber colored beer with a small, off-white head. Malt dominated aroma with grass and hay in the back. Some peppery hints. It’s medium bodied and a bit heavy on the carbonation. Not too sweet, and decently bitter, with bready caramel malts and some grass hints. Medium length finish. Not bad this one, a good food beer. 161103
