Bottle. Clear amber body with a small, lacing beige head. Aroma has dark malt and Christmas spices. Flavor is mild, quite smooth malt with Christmas spices, nuts and moderate bitterness. Medium strength, balanced body with a decent aftertaste in the same direction. Fair enough.

Ravfarget klar med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter nøtter, trevirke og krydder. Lett, nesten Vannete. Smaker noe julekrydder, nøtter og maltekstrakt. Kort.

500ml bottle, as Tya Juling picked up at Gulating Tromsø. Coal black bottle with a cool and colourful Yuletide label of reindeer sleigh and northern lights. The body colour is brown red tinged, close to clear. Slowly diminishing off-white head. Clingy lacing. Mild smell of brown malts and cinnamon. Restrained taste profile is spiced malts, dough, earth and a little touch of dried fruits. Slightly roasted endnotes. Rather anonymous. Great appearance, vague on the taste character (Tromsø 19.12.2016).
