Dark Sour w/ Black Currants
This beer starts as a Dark Sour with a blend of Dark malts that give it hints of chocolate and coffee. The beer was then aged on huge amounts of Black Currants from Silver Rill Berry Farms.

Shared at Valhalla tasting. Thinnish bod, med-high carbo. Med sour, med tart, light-low sweet. Med currant, light skins, an acetic touch. Not the most complex, good though, not great though.

Can, thx Adam V! Deep red body, amberish, no head. Odd aroma, caramel, wheaty, saliva, maybe some currant. Dark malty, bit smoky even in the smooth, flat taste, sharp lactic sourness, very low currant presence, just the tartness partly. Okay.

On tap at Γle Sauvage. Pours a very dark mahagony with a white head. Nice dark fruit character, almost a cinnamon-like dark currant, on the nose. Flavour has plenty of dark currants, moderate to high acidity, and that distinct kettle sour quality. Not bad for a kettle sour.

(notes from Nov 18, 2023 because RB wouldn't log in) Poured from the tap. Dark purple with small pink head. Nice black currant, light tartness, but not overbearing. Pretty decent.

Deep dark purple with a small white head. Earthy dark currants. Super sour dark currants and a bit of raisin in the finish.
