473 ml can. Pours a dark brown with moderate head. Aromas of roasted barley, hickory smoke, plastic and cola. Flavors of smoked malts, subtle chocolate and diet cola. Possibly some oak.

On tap at Steamworks Mt Pleasant, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Nose brings out dry oak, crusty bread and toasted malt. Flavour is dry and toasty, with gentle oak, a hint of smoke, and crusty bready malt. Dry and bready, with a good oaky finish. Solid.

Can from Legacy LRS, Vancouver, 7% ABV
Dark brown colour, almost black, with large tan head. Mild aroma of smoke and dark malts. Dominated by the roasted malt, the flavour is quite burnt, the smoke is very light, not enough to satisfy, just enough to elevate the burn to campfire feeling; decent body strength, but a bit of sugar would have helped taming the ashes, and slight metallic feeling in the finish. Overall, maybe not the beer I hoped for, but still decent.

Murky brown body and little foam, soft smokiness on dark biscuit on the nose which is nice. Flavour is good smokiness on dark biscuit, slightly leathery. Dry and full, a local smoked porter you'd actually want to drink.
