So, what defines a gold medal winning BC lager? Well, hops for sure. Peppery, floral hops. Also, bread flavours from the malts. It's unfiltered because, well, Belgium! Most specifically, it's the colour; light and almost airy.
The beers in this series go hand in hand with rest and relaxation. Sessionable and refreshing, just like a day at the beach.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 04 Dec 2024). Clear-ish bright yellow with small white head. White bread malt with mild dry floral hops. Nothing very interesting here. Average.

Good clear gold body and nice foam. Mellow sweet weedy lager hops on the nose. Chewy sweet hop flavour, soft cardboard, heavy bitter lemon hops. Okay oiliness. Some okay elements but still a very forgettable lager.

Straw colour, with a bit of haze. Thereβs a light malt character, and a bit of light, fruity hop. Decent.
