On tap at the brewery. Dark brown with medium beige head. Roasty aroma, chocolate, nice bitter finish. Bit watery, but thenically quite good.

Draft at the source. Dark clear brown color light tan head. Aroma of brownies, molasses, light licorice. Taste is toasted caramel, milk chocolate. My favorite of the session

On tap at brewery. Pours murky brown. Aroma roasted malts and a bit of coffee. Flavours is mainly roasted malts with some lingering bitterness. Mouthfeel fairly bland.

Brown, tan head. Toasty dry malt nose. Prickly carbo, dry malt palate. Very light roast character

Some kind of muddy dark swampwater with vague foam, no aroma to speak of. Taste is all muddy biscuit and soft brown sugar. Sweetness aftertaste, a little cloying, sugar overbearing, this no way exudes a lager character and is more like a sweet stout. Not awful but well off the mark.

Toasty aroma. Pale brown. Murky-looking. Really rustic and no lager character to speak of, not even rustic lager character. Looks like a mess and doesn't get any better after that.
