We had to pay homage to the movie that we all associate with Hope! 🔥 This Imperial Wheat Ale goes down smooth while still packing a punch as big as John Rambo’s M16. Dedicated to remembering who actually drew first blood, our blood orange beer is perfect for toasting with friends... or enemies.

473mL can. Pours hazy deep gold with a white head. Orange peels and wheat on the nose. Flavour has candied orange peels, wheaty malts. Not bad.

Draught at the brewery
Dark blond with a reddish hue. Some aroma of oranges. Some wheat flavour, there Some fruit, who knows if it's orange but there's some pith, and it doesn't work well with the stronger alcohol. Modest result, but drinkable.

Very nice solid foam on a clear copper body, smells very well of blood orange and just a slight hint of wheat dough. Flavour is heavy chewy wheat, sugary and the orange gets lost amidst all that cloyingness. Needs rebalancing.

M60 is the big gun Rambo used, but obviously you knew Hope's first brewery would lap up the references to the town's main claim to fame. Nice fresh orange taste. The base beer comes across a bit strong, and ends up clashing a bit with the orange. But it's not bad.
