A malty backbone is offset against dry hop highlights evoking redcurrents & fresh flowers. Delicious flavours of grapefruit, pine & red berries throughout with a smooth, gently bitter finish.

Cask at the Haymarket. Pours clear amber with a thin off-white head. Aromas of red fruit and biscuit. Taste is more of the same, red berry cheesecake, the unbaked variety. Creamy texture, light astringent finish.

On cask at the Haymarket. Appearance - amber red with a nice fluffy head. Nose - a bit elusive but there’s a hint of redcurrant. Taste - redcurrants confirmed and some biscuit and caramel follows on. Light astringent note from the malt. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet crunchy texture and a long dry finish. It’s a touch astringent though. Overall - almost very good. Perhaps just a touch of fruity hops would’ve moved it sufficiently away from that malt astringency.
