500ml bottle from Kraftmaniya in Moscow. 8.6% ABV. My 3k beer on another rating platform, but not on RateBeer due to the difference in approaches. Pours black with a thin beige head. Aroma is citrusy hops, roasted malt, berries. The hops are not very bright, in fact its quite a restrained aroma. Taste is light sweet, resin, roasted malt, liquorice, citrus. Medium bitter finish. Low carbonation.

500ml can [8.6% abv]. Jet black colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige to tan head. Chocolately, roasty, dark malty and rather weak, resinous and grassy, hoppy aroma, notes of dark chocolate, roast, a minimally ashy touch, green onion, herbal liquor, liquorice, liquorice root, whiffs of alcohol, some dark honey. Taste is sweet-ish, roasty dark malty, resinous hoppy, slightly alcoholic, notes of dark chocolate, a touch of treacle, malt lozenge, caramel, dark honey, liquorice root, herbal liquor; minimally alcoholic finish. Oily texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine and soft carbonation. Quite heavy and oily overall, rather untypical hop features without ability to lend some real easiness, still drinkable; peculiar interpretation of the style.

Look: opaque deep brown to black with a moderate beige head of good retention. Aroma: exotic fruit, catty, toasted malts, some berries. Taste: as described above, light to medium sweet and bitter. Palate: medium body, soft texture, average carbonation. Generally: alright still a bit below expectations.

Tap. Almost black color, coffee foam. Aroma: fruity, tropical fruits, citrus, light sweetness and juice. Taste: juicy, sweetish, tropical fruits, blackberries, citrus, slightly herbs, slightly bitter, brandy, drinkable, very good.
