Panda 🐼 at home thanks to Colin. An oily dark brown coloured pour with a swirl of dark tan. Aroma is marzipan squares, figgy pud, some booze, some spicy tonka. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, sticky brandy snap sugars, tonka, marzipan, rich fruit cake. Some warming alcohol booze in the finish, which is pretty smooth. Palate is medium sweet, medium full, oily, mellow carbonation. Good.

Bottle at home, from RAD Beer, 10/04/21. Black with a good sized lasting khaki head. Nose is sweet malts, dried fruits, chocolate, mellow barrel, brown sugars, almond, booze, honeycomb. Taste comprises sweet malts, light roast, spice, chocolate melt, good bourbon kiss, dried fruits. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Decent Impy affair ... this one grew on me ... not that it was poor to start with but the balance and flavour profile were good and whilst a touch sweet didn't run away on this front.

Near black with a ring tan head. Aroma of massive marzipan, big nutty notes, vanilla, tonka. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with alcohol warmth in the finish and soft carbonation.

Almost black beer, a head is quite small and light brown. Aroma has strong marzipan, some hazelnuts. Taste has hazelnuts, marzipan, some roastiness. Almost full bodied. Too weird.

33 cl bottle @ home. Batch #522, BBE 30.12.2022 Aroma feels like Hartwall Omenalimonadi; apple, fruit sugar and some licorice. Also cocoa. Flavour has cocoa, licorice, sweet calvados. Sweet and good, like a mixture of stout and mead. Gets better at the end of the glass.

Bottle @tasting 30.1.21. Poured black in color. Thin head. Bitter almond, nuts, sweetness and vanilla. Heavy and not very balanced. Very sweet, not much barrel.

Sample @ Sori Taproom, Helsinki. Weird aroma of glue, marzipan, some roastiness, honey, hints of pistachio and pecan pie, sweetness. Messy.
