A balance of hops and malt with flavors of orange and pine and a dry finish. Brewed in appreciation of the time we spent in Amsterdam as a team in December 2019.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: dark amber color with a light transparency closer to the edges; one and a half fingers of eggshell white foamy head slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: nice clean malts up front with a big pine to orangey hoppiness, subtle extra citrusy hop tones too
Flavor: blends all the prior noted aromas together pretty nice and semi-sweet, light bitterness does come in from under for a light balance; finishes malty with the piney & orangey hops
Texture: medium bodied, somewhat sessionable, some smoothness but a light hop abrasion along the tongue
Overall: pretty nicely done amber ale with more hops than other American red ales, all you hopheads you might want to check this one out.

This really is hitting spot this evening. Amber colored and fine head. Nose is caramel and some piney hops. Tastes much the same with additions of florals, bread crust, touch of herbs on finish. Clean and crisp. Very refreshing.

16 oz. can. Aroma is the flavor. Flavor starts sweet and transitions into a pine hop finish. Medium body, texture turning dry in the finish, lively carbonation. Overall, well crafted for a straightforward hopped amber ale.
