Brewed as part of two beer collaboration project with Electric Bear, Intercardinal Directions is a West Coast IPA. Its counterpart beer, 'Where's My Compass At?' is the East Coast sibling - with both beers brewed using the same ingredients, in different ways to produce two different beers. Dry Hopped with Simcoe, Mosaic & Amarillo, Intercardinal Directions is a modern take on the West Coast IPA style.

440ml can via LowCostBeer, BB 3rd May 2021. Out of date by a month as I drank it on my patio on 5th Jun 2021. Hazy orange/amber body, decent white topping. The Caramalt's give a good account of themselves as they battle with the citrusy hops to give a balance to this fruity, citrus tasting brew. Liked it.

Large foamy white head left a good cover on a deep orange coloured body. Pine & malt aroma. Medium bodied, nicely carbonated with smooth back & clean aft. Bitter, citrus, pith, pine, heavy hops & peach tastes with a long tangy finish. Excellent!

Can from Inn At Home. Aroma has harsh stonefruit, a touch of sugar, and underlying pine. Slightly hazy amber. Thick foamy fluffy white head. Medium-heavy bitter. Tart stonefruit, resin and quinine. Some fruity tanginess appears at the very end. Medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation, at best. Long dry astringent finish. Satisfyingly bitter West Coast IPA.

Can from the brewery. Hazy deep amber colour with an off white head. Citrus and malty aroma slight pine. Taste sweet to bittersweet. Rich body.
