330ml Can. Unclear misty gold, frothy white head. On the paler side for a marzen. Quite a confident malt sweetness providing the bulk of the body and character, not a bad take on the marzen style.

Can ordered from Inn At Home, Newbury. Aroma is sweet and doughy with a spicey streak and yeasty edge. A slight haze to the gold body. Thin creamy translucent white head. Medium bitter with sour tart stone fruit edge. Which I wasn't particularly expecting from the aroma. The sweetness is there, it's underlying and whilst it does become more prominent it doesn't out muscle the other facets. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. A grapefruit tinged bitter lager. Decent.
