Can, from Trader Joe's. Pours opaque dark brown with faint ruby red highlights against the light, foamy dark beige head, faint caramel-coffee aroma, high carbonation, medium bitter coffee beans taste, smooth body, long coffee finish. A satisfying stout!

Can ordered from A Hoppy Place, Windsor. Glossy. Pours cola brown. Thick fluffy foamy beige head. Aroma has coffee, dark berries and roast - if all rather low key. Medium bitter. Coffee and liquorice. Sour berries on the periphery. Underlying hints of sweetness - fruit and molasses. Medium bodied. Slick. A tad oily. Fizzy carbonation. Long astringent finish. Decent chewy stout. A sweetness that I can appreciate but wouldn't want to drink multiple glasses of it.

Creamy light brown head left a froth on a dark brown body. Malt, roasted & cigarette aroma. Medium bodied, sharp with a clean back. Malt, chocolate, coffee & pine tastes with a lightly hopped finish. Nice.

Pours mahogany tinged black into an English pint. Mocha head with excellent retention recedes to skim surface. Sweet cola and clove aromas. Medium bodied with blonde brownie, clove and dusty treacle upfront turning to chocolate and espresso in the lasting finish.

Panda at home, thanks to Froge, 13/01/21. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent beige covering that dissipates to a swirl and edgeing. Nose is toffee fudge, dried fruit esters, light roast, brown sugars, dates. Taste comprises sweet malts, brown sugar sprinkle, toffee, cocoa powder, fruit loaf, faint spice. Medium bodied with a bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent flavoursome stout.

Can. Beer Stop, Dronfield. Mostly clear, chestnut brown. Fine off white head. Nose has light roast coffee bean. Vine fruit. Some milk chocolate wafer. Taste sets off sweet, and vinous, with moderate, coffee bean bitterness. Creamy on the palate. Soft carbonation. Lingering moderate bitterness to finish. Surprised at some of the low ratings here. Liked this one.
