Flaska på Queens Head. Mörkt bärnstenfärgad vätska. Karamellig doft. Smak av bränd karamell. Lite väl publikfriande söt smak.

Good colour and clarity for style with fair head retention. Tastes good, but really a little thin, and not as full of flavour as I was expecting. But overall very good beer.

Look: clear copper to chestnut, beige medium head.
Aroma: some caramel malt, mineral, a bit of toasted bread, light spicy hops.
Taste: light caramel malt sweetness, light spicy hop bitterness, dark bread crust. A simple but clean dunkel.

Bottle at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 22/8/2014. Dark brown in colour with a decent, tan, head. Raisins, a touch of caramel, bready malts and a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Schöne dunkelbraune Farbe, säuerlich-malziger Geruch. Der Antrunk ist schön malzig-trocken mit einem leicht säuerlichen Touch, der sich zum Hauptteil noch ein Bisschen weiter durchsetzt. Zum Nachgeschmack hin wird die trocken-malzige Note noch etwas deutlicher, hinzu tritt eine angenehm abgewogene Herbe. Der Nachgeschmack ist lang anhlatend, schön malzig-säuerlich-trocken.
