The dark site of pleasure. Fine bitter, fresh and rich in taste. Thanks to dark superior malt that provides the amber colour and the elegant smoothness.

33cl Swing top Bottle @ Zythos Restaurant in Athens. Nice deep amber color with a fast diminishing head. Nutty aroma with caramel hints. Lots of caramel and nuts in the flavour too and some lingering bitterness is noticeable at the end.

Bottle. Poured a clear amber color with a medium frothy light tan head. The aroma is a strong rosted malt and cofee. Good lacing on the glass. The taste is also roasted malt with dark chocolate and a rich finish. A good Dunkel from Flensburger.

Aroma is nutty-malty with some pine hops and a dash of yeast. Large, frothy, off-white head. Fair lacing. Bronze body. Flavor is watery with biscut-malts, not amazing unless you like eating dog treats. Texture is watery with fizzy carbonation.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. But there’s not much foam. Malty aroma. Flavor strong, malty, not too dry. Good beer.

Clear, pale brown colour. Aroma is slightly dry, hoppy and bitter. It’s smooth tasting and easy to drink but lacks punch. Nicely balanced dry, bitter beer.

Fliptop bottle (BB 07/2007)
Clear nut brown color, decent off-white creamy head. Grassy, slightly roasted malty nose. Woody/nutty hoppy, lightly roasted, subdued caramelly notes. Good malt/hop balance, but otherwise this really doesn’t hit to the point. Maybe also a bit past of its prime -bottle as there is some sourness in it.

33 cL bottle. Pours dark orange to brown with a creamy head. Aroma of sliht roasted malt, vague sourness. Flavour is dominantly malty with a good bitterness in the finish. Decent brew but nothing special.
