The dark site of pleasure. Fine bitter, fresh and rich in taste. Thanks to dark superior malt that provides the amber colour and the elegant smoothness.

swing top bottle (330ml). -Pours a clear cooper colour with tan airy head and odd but pleasant dry chilli chocolate nose. Toasted malt aroma with notes of caramel, chocolate and bread. Also notes of something strange and spicy that I can’t detect (nutmag maybe). So far the best Flensburger that I’ve tried.

Pour is a dark brown with a large tan head. Aroma is super roasty with lots of caramel and a very heavy breadyness. Flavor is nutty with some caramel and toffee. Very pleasing all around. For a cheaper than average beer this is quite the treat and well worth the money.

Bottled. Clear nut brown, rich but brief head. Hazelnut aroma. Sweet with some caramel and an evident nut flavour. Medium bodied with fairly clean mouthfeel. Some light grassy hops shine through in a finish with medium bitterness.

330ml swingtop bottle. Clear auburn colour with some lasting spots of foam. Light malty aroma. Grainy texture with taste of roasted nuts and hints of chocolate. A well balanced dunkel. Alright to baked turkey on the national day in Norway.

Bottled. Reddish-brown with a small beige head. Malty and light sweet aroma and flavor. Medium body. Rating: 4-3-5-3-11-2.6. 051208

Bottle. A clear, copper colored beer with a small, off-white to beige head. Malty, caramel aroma with a touch of dried fruits and wet cardboard. Caramel, malts and some dried fruits in the flavor, medium to full body, dry and decently carbonated. Caramel finish. A decent one, not impressive. 110917
