Bottle. I’ve never had a doppelbock that was such a light color. A light golden, amber color. Didn’t have that strong malt flavor one might expect from a doppelbock either. Still, this wasn’t a bad beer. Aroma was similar to other beers brewed by Rinkuškiai. Flavor was caramel, bread with just a tad too much alcohol taste. Recommended at least once.

0.5 L bottle. Pours a clear, yellow color, with a medium, bubbly, beige head. Lightly tangy apricot, butterscotch, pine, resin, and light, dry grass. Cloying sweetness, with an unfortunate bitterness. Heavy body, with an acidic, sticky, and syrupy mouthfeel. This beer is pretty awful.

Not sure if ’horrific’ is an applicable term for a beer, but it sure seems apt for Missing Elf. Sweet. Sweet beyond sweet. Like sucking on a banana slathered in Karo syrup, only exponentially more disturbing. Every single iota of alcohol is present on the spiky texture. ’Undrinkable’ doesn’t cut it. Unfathomable? Unforgivable? Holy hell.

Clear golden with medium body, little carbonation and very short lived head. Aroma is malty alcohol, taste is corn and malt. Hard to detect much sign of hops. Lithuanian Colt 45?

Clear deep yellow gold color, small head that did not last long nor did it leave any traceable lacing. Sweet grain, light apple aroma. Sugary Sweet, corn, apple, light alcohol burn. Considering high ABV, this is rather smooth and easy to drink. After saying that, it is not something that I would normally drink. Funny label. OK for what it is. Pass it...

16.9 ounce bottle from Beer Run, 12/14/13. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized foamy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of heavy corn, pale malts and some dusty notes. The taste is heavy corn, pale malts, doughy notes, the mildest bit of hops. Thin bodied, boozy. Malt liquor, basically.

Wow. Dreadful beer. Sugary and brutal. but does have some Bock undertones. Artificially sweet orange sugar, faint yeasty butter. Horrid stuff.

Another nasty beer from Rinky. I swear that they only make two kinds of beers; a high alky and a 5% and only change the labels. I’ve had many of these rinky’s and they all taste the same; just plain RUDE. One of my beer brewing buddies has confirmed they only make two beers and several labels. All the labels are interesting to look at fer sure. Now, on to this beer wannah be. Slightly cloudy pale yellow. Smell is just plain old rude high gravity lager that has been aged in a can tho this came from a bottle. Taste almost encourages the gag reflex, how nasty. Sickening sweet cloying yuck of a beer. All that near gag reflex thing happening makes me forget all about any possible carbonation. Later. This is an insult to infer this is a holiday beer. What a mess, typical cheap baltic beer.
