Can at home, from HOTM online, 06/03/21. Black with a good sized khaki covering that dissipates edgeward soon enough. Nose is chocolate dipped cherries, dark malts, brown sugar melt, molasses, mellow roast. Taste comprises cherries, Black Forest Gateaux, light spice, mellow boost, cacao nibs, light vanilla. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of alcohol. Solid pastry affair ... delivers the chocolate cherry tag and holds a good balance without ever getting too sweet.

Can. Almost opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Smooth palate, quite light and semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts, smooth and redolent with the promised chocolate ganache. Could be sweeter but other than that, pretty much spot on. Ripe cherry and morello cherry, reasonably juicy. And that's about that. Does what it says on the tin. Well the cherry gets a little bitterish on the aftertaste. Nice. But wants something more to bring it all together. Some rich chocolate cake comes readily to mind. A win, but could have been a screamer.

330ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Jet black body, fawn-colured head, clingy lacing. Smell of mildly roasted grainy chocolate, hints of berry skins. Blended taste of creamy chocolate supported by a cherry twist. Smooth and warming, long-lived end, sweet. Well bodied. Slow sipper qualities. (At home in Tromsø 05.02.2021)
