Can from Beers@Moviefun. Hazy black, thin, beige head. Aroma of marzipan, date, Maraschino, chocolate sauce, marshmallow, vanilla, cream, meringue. Taste has very sweet date & plum over chocolatey maltiness with notes of cherry, brown bread and slightly bitter coffee for balance. Herbal hoppy finish, chocolate powder, cream, marshmallow and warming cherry liqueur-like alcohol. Pleasant cherry accent throughout but a bit too heavy on that marshmallow accent, and that wasn't even intended.

330ml can. Pours jet black with a thin head. Aroma is sweet cherry cola and milk chocolate. Taste has cherry cola throughout with a milk chocolate finish. Oily mouthfeel.

Can from The Fuss Club. Black pour with a tan head. Nose is cherry bakewell, almond, vanilla, chocolate raisin. Flavours of black forest gateaux, cherry bakewell, dates, raspberry ruffle chocolates, coffee, profiteroles. Long alcohol burn. Uber sweet unsurprisingly desserty finish.

Can. A dark brown to black beer topped by a finger thick tan head. Some lacing. The aroma has a touch of marzipan and almond, with cherry hints and loads of sweet, dark chocolate. It's full bodied, soft and lightly warming, quite sweet, with lots of dark and sweet chocolate. Notes of marzipan and cherry. Long sweet chocolate driven finish. Quite delicious this one.
