Bottle. Deep golden color. Dominant peat in the aroma with a hint of banana. Wheaty sweet flavor with orange, banana and peat. The balance could be better, the carbonation is very soft, but this is a nice beer.

Bottle from bierkoning @ home. While I’m not a fan of hefeweizen and peat the combination isn’t too bad. Too me it tastes a bit too much like fingerpaint though. I still finished the entire bottle so it was manageable.

Secret Sinterklaas 2017, bedankt David!. schenkt wazig gouden met volle witte kraag. aroam van gerookte mout (turf), citrus. Smaken zijn moutig, weeïg, matig zoet, matig bitter, redelijke co2, tarwe, zachte smaken, matige body, lichte banaan, romig mondgevoel, best ok en een licht zuurtje. --- Beer merged from original tick of Konfuuzie on 18 May 2018 at 09:50 - Score: 7

Bottle at home thanks to Bierkoning for the trade! Clear golden with white head. Peat, red apple, wood smoke, apricot, light bready wheat. Just medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. It seems nice and fruity with a big dose of peat, though something seems also watery and a bit like pasteurized milk. I guess the peat actually makes this a better beer, which is something I wouldnt usually say.

Bottle shared with Koelschtrinker. Klare goldgelbe Farbe, geringe weiße schaumkrone. Geruch ist torfig rauchig, helles malz. Geschmack ist mild rauchig, viel Torf, helles kräftiges malz.

Torfiger Geruch. Helle, weich getreidige Noten mit mild süßem Raucharoma. Im Mittelteil herber, sehr süffig, langer rauchig herber Nachhall. Gut. 10/9/11/9/8/10
