Cask at Hogshead, Wolverhampton. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a small cream head. Strawberry jam and custard in the aroma. In the mouth it initially has a cream texture with sponge cake flavour to the fore. After a while summer fruits and cola start to come through, and the texture turns watery ! Finish is fruity. Quite nice but doesn’t really have any stout characteristics.
