Aged in American whiskey barrels that originally held 100% malted barley spirits. Smooth, slightly sweet with a hint of spice, this release is all about the medley of beer and barrel that presentS notes of dark chocolate, subtle coffee, oak, vanilla and a kiss of honey. Darkling indeed.

Waxed bomber from Tavour. Pours very dark brn/blk with a creamy tan head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla and wood. Full bodied. Flavor is chocolate, bourbon(?), vanilla, burnt malt, non-musty wood, and unoffensive heat. Not dry, but far from sticky. Bitter from something - combo of burnt malt and heat? Very nice flavor.
