Can from Elizabeth Station, Bellingham, WA, via Sergey
Dark brown colour. Aroma of chocolate, cacao, dust. Full bodied, moderately sweet, with a touch of coffee in the front, roasted malts, but balanced by the chocolate; ending with gentle alcohol warmth; smooth, cohesive, it's well done.

16oz on Alex's porch. Appearance: very dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma: roasted malts, some chocolate, a bit of fark fruits and sweetness. Taste: along the same lines, earthy, black chocolate. Overall: a bit roasty for me, but nice.

Can. Pours dark brown with a foamy tan head. Dark chocolate, espresso, lactose, roasted malt, under-whelming overall for an imperal stout.

Pint can. Very dark brown pour with a nice tan head. Rich aroma of sweet chocolatey goodness. Tastes sweet, but not overly so. Lots of layers of chocolate sweetness and mild bitters. A little roast in the end.

16 oz. can, pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out rich roasted malt upfront, with a well-hopped backbone and some dry cocoa. Flavour is robust and hearty, with heaps of roasted barley, a hearty oatmeal character, and ample woody hops for sturdy balance and a fair bit of bitterness. Secondary notes of espresso and bitter cocoa express themselves. Perfectly constructed, hearty and robust, but maintaining high drinkability. The kind of imperial stout that's hard to get tired of. Excellent.

Can. Pours opaque black with a small tan head and good lacing. Aromis heavy roast, cocoa, hint of molasses, espresso beans. Flavor is medium sweet and medium bitter. Fullish body. Quite solid for a non-BA wimpy.

Waxed bomber from Tavour. Pours very dark brn/blk with a creamy tan head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla and wood. Full bodied. Flavor is chocolate, bourbon(?), vanilla, burnt malt, non-musty wood, and unoffensive heat. Not dry, but far from sticky. Bitter from something - combo of burnt malt and heat? Very nice flavor.

On tap at the 2017 Black Friday at Payette. Black and just a quick tan head. Mostly just straight medium dark roast. Simple and plain. Fairly dry.
